#1 Chaff collector also helps pouring green beans

Welcome to Bite-Sized Tips for BeanBon. In these posts, you could learn tips for getting started quicky with BeanBon Coffee Roaster. Today, we are sharing the tips for pouring the green beans with chaff collector.

You need no other tool but chaff collector for pouring the green beans into the machine.

It's an easy but useful tip! Time to try it yourself and goodbye to the spilitting grean beans on the table.

#2 Eliminating the stuck beans with a move

An easy move to solve the prolblem.

Before roasting, check the ""lever switch"" whether it's at its original position.

The patent ""Bean Dispensing Mechanism"" is a mechanical design, so iyou could manualy operate the action even if there's power shortage or machine malfunction.

Pull up the lever switch to ensure the bean releasing door close tighly, so there's no airflow coming through the gap and leaking the heat, and then there will be no unroasted beans in the well done roast.

If the move of ""pulling up the lever switch"" get stuck, you could check whether there's beans from previous batch clamped by the bean releasing door while it's closing.

What if there's still problem even you've checked all the mentioned situations? Please contact for further guidance.

#3 The 3-minute cooling phase

1. Every roasts will automatically enter into 3-minute cooling phase after the roasting is finished. Please let the machine finsihed the cooling phase completely.

2. Need one more coooling phase? Push the button lasting for 3 seconds, and then the 3-minute cooling phase will be activated manually.

3. The more batches you roast in a row, the longer cooling time is suggested for cooling the machine. The adjustment of cooling time depends on the environment and the machine temperature.

These 3 points are easy, right? Remember to do the prpoper cooling next time after your roasting to prevent over-heating or parts damaged.

#4 The beep sound is the sign of finish.

#5 Press the lever switch, and release the beans.

Press the lever switch to the botttom to trigger the microswitch to activate the airflow. Once the airflow starts blowing, the LED screen would show "0000" and the ariflow will last for 5 seconds. This way could blow the chaff in inner glasstube toward the chaff collector, release the beans into bean cup, and stop the beep sound.

※Please hold the lever switch until all beans relaesed into the bean cup. In the end, pull up the lever stich to check whtether it's at the origianl postion.

The "mechanical" bean releasing design allows you to keep the action even encountring power shortage or machine malfunction.

Please note that there will be no airflow if the microswitch isn't triggered.

Please avoid smacking the lever switch to prevent trouble in beans releasing.

#6 The way to clean the Cover and the Bottom to keep them good-looking

The Cover is the part where most of the coffee grease and chaff would stick to. Besides, the dust attached with green beans would also be blown to the cover while in the roasting. The mesh of the cover would be filled with the continuously generated smoke with dust, chaff and coffee grease. Once the holes of the mesh are all blocked, the smoke exhaust will be interefered, too. The influence would lead to roasting failure. So, here comes the tips for cleaning

Tools:

Brush, Q-tips, toothbrush, alcohol wipes, olive oil.

Steps:

1. Clean the Cover with dry brush or toothbrush. (Brush out the chaff and dust.)

2. Alcohol wipes for the whole surface, including the gap and holes, of the Cover to wipe out the coffee grease.

3. Put on little olive oil to polish the Cover as maintenance.

4. Check the botttom and remove the chaff with brush if there's any attahcing on.

These steps are super easy but useful, right? Do the clean and maintenance from time to time to keep your mahcine works well!
